We have launched a new content series, “The Elevator Pitch,” which we will feature once per week to showcase the next batch of up-and-coming Canadian startups. We have also created a Builders Perspective section of the newsletter, where we amplify personal stories from builders' own words to celebrate and create awareness for those working hard to build something amazing.

The Founders Journey was your most-loved series of the year.

After launching it in late 2023, the series took off in 2024 and we have featured some of today’s top Founders and change-makers throughout our episodes.

We made 1 acquisition and delivered 1 rebrand in 2024

It was a transformative year for us at TechTO this year.

Not only did we acquire Peerscale, who is adding so much value to this tech ecosystem (read the full announcement here), but we also rebranded, giving TechTO a fresh new look for our 10th Anniversary.

We hired a new CEO to help us take TechTO to new heights!

Marie Chevrier Schwartz, a seasoned Entrepreneur who has been working with TechTO in a community leadership role with our Retail (now Commerce) events, joined us as our CEO in Residence a few months ago, and it’s been an amazing addition to our team.

Marie continues to support the ecosystem in this role and has big plans for TechTO in 2025. Stay tuned.
