What does your company do?

Arteria AI is a digital contracting software that uses a data-first approach to generate, negotiate and execute complex financial contracts as structured data at the outset. Arteria AI has been used by global banks for business-as-usual everyday contracting as well as regulatory programs like Uncleared Margin Rules and LIBOR Transition.

How did you meet your founders/know they were the right people to start a company with?

We have known each other forever - in Abrar's case since, my first startup!

Who is the unsung hero on the team? Why?

Gaurav, our Head of DevOps does an amazing job every single day.

What are you trying to achieve over the next 12 months?

We would like to continue to grow and ensure we are building a great company.

• She saw how AI was beginning to be used for documentation processes. But something bothered her: why go through a traditional process of creating a contract in the first place, and then extract the salient details later?

• At Deloitte, she and her colleagues began developing an approach to improve the documentation development process with AI by creating structured data from the start
