Let’s start with a few FAQs:

What is Startup Open House?

Startup Open House is a city-wide event, participants can visit the offices of Toronto’s most innovative companies, meet directly with decision-makers, and make meaningful connections with tech visionaries.

Who should attend?

Anyone can attend — it’s completely FREE.

If you’re curious about startups, looking for your next role, a student dreaming big, or just someone who loves innovation, this is your jam. Think of it as the ultimate backstage pass to Toronto’s tech scene.

Who’s going to be there?

A mix of the most interesting people in the city:

  • Students and young professionals with LinkedIn profiles ready to go

  • Job seekers and internship hunters

  • Curious neighbors who just want to see what “startup life” looks like

  • Customers, partners, investors, and community supporters

🚀 A FEW MORE TIPS TO PREPARE

1. Wear comfy shoes

You’ll be trekking across downtown running from one cool startup office to another.

2. Bring Your LinkedIn QR code

Skip the business cards - use your LinkedIn app to “show QR” to connect quickly with folks.

3. Don’t just visit. Engage.

Ask founders why they started. Try out the product. Meet the team. This isn’t a museum tour - it’s a conversation.

4. Plan your route

With so many open doors, you’ll want a strategy. Check the official map, circle your must-visits, and leave room for serendipity.

And remember to end your day at the After Party. RSVP here:  https://luma.com/SOH-afterparty-oct-9-2025
