Today, we learn more about Voiceflow, and how since 2018, they’ve been advancing their platform to help ambitious teams build better AI agents.
What is Voiceflow?
Teams leverage Voiceflow to collaboratively design, develop, and deploy impactful AI agents, utilizing a variety of models and integrations.
Voiceflow uses key elements to:
1. Build a Knowledge Base: Import data for Agents to respond using curated information.
2. Add Workflows: Create multi-step tasks for Agents with Voiceflow's Workflow Builder.
3. Integrate: Connect Agents to third-party services and APIs using Voiceflow Functions and API blocks.
4. Launch: Deploy Agents through Voiceflow's web chat UI or custom interfaces via the Dialog API.
How has Voiceflow evolved?
Since 2018, the platform has advanced significantly. Their conversation design solution continues to evolve, going from a standalone conversation design tool to a full-stack conversational AI platform.
Effective conversation design is crucial for AI Agents because a seamless alignment between design vision and development output results in a superior user experience. They aim to bridge this gap with their advanced conversation design tool and production developer platform.
Since the launch of Voiceflow’s comprehensive platform, they’ve assisted thousands of customers in automating over one billion messages for customer support and beyond. Success stories, like Trilogy’s, highlight their overall impact: they now automate over 60% of their L1 & L2 customer support with AI Agents built on Voiceflow.
