Starting the conversation
A sneak peek of what's to come this week
PROFILE
Giving you a sneak peek
For today’s company profile, we get the conversation going with Jamieson Fregeau, Co-Founder and President at Quandri.
Jamieson will be joining us in real life this week at our Vancouver event (on October 24), but for now, we thought we’d get the ball rolling and learn a bit more about Quandri and his contributions to growth as a Co-founder.
What is Quandri (for those who don’t know)?
Quandri transforms the policy renewal process for insurance brokerages by automating time-consuming and repetitive tasks, identifying actionable policy insights, and enabling insurance companies to achieve profitability and scale.
Quandri’s Renewal Intelligence Platform uses AI-enabled agents (a.k.a. bots) to accomplish manual, repetitive tasks, enabling employees to focus on more valuable work, such as servicing clients.
What inspired this idea?
It originated from the observation (of myself and my brother Jackson) of the overwhelming amount of repetitive tasks that consume people’s workdays. Inspired to create a solution, we engineered robots to automate these tasks and witnessed a substantial impact on the amount of time the technology freed up for hard-working professionals. We discovered that Quandri made the greatest difference within the insurance industry, which was drowning in repetitive work.
From that point on, we shifted the focus to exclusively helping insurance professionals transition from repetitive work to valuable work by automating monotonous tasks for them.
Today, Quandri fuels the growth of hundreds of insurance businesses across North America by empowering their people and unlocking their data.
How did you build this?
We began by developing custom automation solutions across a range of industries. However, we quickly realized that we could make the greatest impact in insurance, where manual, repetitive tasks are abundant.
The insurance sector has lagged behind others in adopting new technology, which presented a significant opportunity for us to drive change. Recognizing this, we shifted our focus from creating custom robots to building a platform specifically designed to address one of the most time-consuming challenges for insurance brokerages: the renewal process.
By honing in on this critical need, we’ve positioned ourselves as a trusted solution for automating renewals and unlocking renewal data, enabling brokerages to save time and streamline their operations.
How has it been received by the market?
Our product’s strong reception in the market is no coincidence—it’s the result of actively listening to our customers at every stage of development.
The real secret to building a successful product lies in truly understanding your customers' pain points and using that insight to drive innovation. By integrating their feedback, our customers have essentially co-created the product alongside us, which is a big reason why it resonates so well with the market.
Their input hasn’t just guided us; it’s been fundamental to our success.
Is Quandri hiring right now?
